Yes. Switched to Resolve 3 years ago and never looked back and haven't touched a single Adobe software. Don't need to constantly open multiple program when I wanna do simple things that one program can't do and then constantly import and export things and dynamic link constantly breaking and messing everything up. Resolve has editing, fusion, color, fairlight all in one program and i can switch to a different page if I wanna do something specific and those pages are basically another program shoved into one and it works flawlessly really fast and don't have any friction. Ofcourse there will be less plugins for Resolve because it's been an editor for a lot less time than PP but that's just a snowball effect because there was 10 times less plugins for Resolve just when I switched but now there are a lot of companies making plugins for DR such as motion vfx, motion array etc. You don't have to fine tune color grades in DR, IMO even doing the most basic grades in DR makes it a lot easier and faster than PP and trust me the final results makes a huge difference. I mean most of your reasons to not to switch is just a snowball effect. Everything reason you're talking about were much worse just a few years ago and in just 2-3 years they've all changed massively so those points really don't hold much value.

I have an Insta306 One RS amd theres no filters for it. Its mainly used for MTB riding in a sub-tropical mountain region and i felt i wanted filters because things can be a bit glaring. So, im looking for a different camera that i can buy filters for and the Action 2 can be gotten cheaply now. I know ill need a heat-dissipating case, and you've shown the filter wont stay on. You've also shown ND filters just wont work with digital stabilisation. I can only summise that my 'dream' of getting better footage is not going to work on any action camera therefore, and its more about shooting then playing with the footage i want to keep in software after the fact?
